Antique your way through our villages and along our country back roads where treasures can always be found.\u00a0The historic Marketplace at Chestnut is a 19th century building, formerly known as the Jonathon Logan Dress Factory, with three levels and 20,000 sq ft of room where independent dealers of antiques, gifts, and collectibles sell their wares.\u00a0Enjoy searching for a variety of items ranging from Victorian and Adirondack-style furniture, Oriental rugs, Depression glass, antique jewelry & china sets, military memorabilia, books & magazines, vintage clothing, and numerous arts & crafts. With their philosophy of pricing items to sell, the large inventory is always changing!\u00a0<\/div>

Centrally located, Westwood Guest Cottage is\u00a0<\/strong>an easy 45-minute drive to Cooperstown\u2019s Otsego Lake, Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Opera, and its many museums. Oneonta (20 minutes) offers its National Soccer Hall of Fame, Minor League Baseball at Nehawa Park and its many choices of shops and eateries.\u00a0<\/div>

Many art and music events are held at The West Kortright Centre and the Orpheus Theater.\u00a0During the months of July and August\u00a0visit\u00a0old fashioned fairs like the Otsego County Fair, as well as\u00a0the New York State Fair in Syracuse (1.5 hours away).\u00a0<\/div>

Experience nature walks, hiking, biking, canoeing, cross country skiing, swimming and fishing in and around our many lakes and rivers or enjoy our many area golf courses while staying at our lovely cottage in the woods. The end of the summer does not conclude the attractions this region offers. Famous for its display of foliage in October, the cottage offers the opportunity to experience the glory of fall.<\/div>
